Precision biotherapeutics paradigm : revolutionizing disease treatment

Precision biotherapeutics are a new twist to the traditional pharmaceutical practices that treat diseases by creating treatments that are made specifically for individual patients or small groups of people. It uses various advanced technologies including biotechnology, high level softwares and databases which ultimately step up the conventional methods for medicine preparations which are treatments often designed to work for large groups of people. Doctors usually prescribe the same medication to many patients, even though each person’s body may react differently. This “one-size-fits-all” approach doesn’t always work well because everyone’s body is unique.As the name defines Precision emphasis on making tailor therapies to individual patients, unique genetics, molecular and clinical profiles. Precision bio-therapeutics solve this problem by focusing on the unique biology of each patient carefully . We now have tools like CRISPR,which can edit genes, and biomarkers, which help identify specific disease traits and also nanotechnology that can not be termed as medicines but it is also used in therapeutics by using the nano molecules to work at particular sites. These tools allow doctors and researchers to better understand what is causing a person’s illness and develop a treatment that targets that exact problem. This is especially helpful in treating difficult diseases like cancer, genetic disorders, and autoimmune diseases.But as the idea seems fascinating enough to give hopes but it still needs lots of foundation work, to build this system for action. To design the tailored therapies and services the biggest challenge to face is to manage the large amount of databases that come from health records and genetic testing. To tackle this problem scientists or researchers need advancements in computer systems , softwares that could handle large amounts of data and capable of making the best treatment. As the clinical trials are going on, some treatments show positive results but the thing is precision medicines are expensive and can’t be affordable for everyone . So we take this to a level where everyone be benefitted by these life changing treatments because in recents years cancer shows no discrimination to age , class and colour. Precision medicines can be shining knights in the darkness for treating cancer in which it can simply deliver the right cancer treatment to the right patient at the right dose and the right time but it needs precise analysis of the data where one error and mistake could give rise to negative outcomes and precision medicines will be in bad light but that doesn’t mean we can’t achieve the higher self with determination and efforts for better world. Precision biotherapeutics is the hope that has the potential to change the present scenario of medicines to turn around 360° and turn the sorrows of people to the smiles to see their loved one treated right and fighting the illness with more trust and diligence. As this field grows, we have to make sure that these new therapies are available to everyone who needs them, so they can have the best possible outcomes.
