For a country like India where most of its population is engaged in agriculture climate resilient Agriculture is need of the hour .With modification in our agricultural practices as well as in crops we can improve crop yield and prevent crop failure. With advancement in science and technology we can now modify crops with gene of interest. These include injecting genes that help them grow in less water conditions .There are already several genetically modified crops available in the market that include bt cotton, bt corn, bt brinjal these are resiliant to bacterium bacillus thuringiensis . GMO ‘s also include golden rice , flavor savor tomato and others .Thus by adopting such methods we can make crops that are resilient to climate change and hence give good harvest.
