Our lab works in the area of computational systems and synthetic biology domain wherein we try to integrate the action of regulatory circuits, cross talk between different signaling/metabolic pathways and the non-linear kinetics of biochemical processes through mathematical modeling. The hypotheses laid down is further validated in experimental conditions (both in vitro and in vivo)

Current Focus Areas

  • Investigating the molecular processes that underpin cellular function and contribute to human disease is the focus of lab pertaining to systems and synthetic biology. To dissect these intricate biological findings into novel medical treatments, we integrate multidisciplinary approaches. The lab deals with Leishmaniasis (infection model) and Lung Cancer (inflammation model)
