Profile

Dr Satish Devadas is an Immunologist who studies T cell biology in Humans and Mice to better define Adaptive Immune systems in mammals. He has a PhD degree from the University of Madras, Chennai, TN and carried out his dissertation work in Prof. R Puvankrishnan’s laboratory at the Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, TN. He then joined Dr Mark Williams’ at the American Red Cross, Rockville, Bethesda, MD to study the role of Reactive Oxygen Species in T cell Receptor Activation and Apoptosis. He later was a Research training specialist with Dr. Yufang Shi at the Molecular Genetics Microbiology and Immunology Department, Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, Piscataway, NJ. Since Sep 2007 he has been working on Human Immunology at the T cell Biology lab, ILS, Bhubaneswar.
