Gitanjali Yadav

Dr. Gitanjali Yadav is currently a senior scientist at NIPGR New Delhi, as well as Adjunct Professor of Data Science at IISER Bhopal. She has recently completed a five year Lecturership at the University of Cambridge, on a Joint Deputation Program between DBT and the Cambridge, where she helped to launch the Cambridge-India Research Foundation (CIRF). She is an expert in Genomics and Machine Learning with applications in Food security and Ecosystem Conservation. Her research combines Botany, Geography and Chemistry to address the question of how plants evolved the phenomenal ability to travel, adapt and expand into new realms.
